Newcastle vs. Hull City

After a 4:0 defeat the last thing you want is to keep conceding goals, and the only thing that will satisfy Alan Pardey apart from 3 points is clean sheet. That might be
difficult against Hull, after they did fantastic against West Ham scoring two, and creating many more chances.

Hull’s main advantage in this game, although they play away from home, is going to be the pressure that Newcastle players have right now. If they manage to organize solid defence and try to capitalize from counter attack, Steve Bruce will be a happy man.

Hernandez and Diame both scored on their debut, and while Ben Arfa is not allowed to play as a Newcastle loanee, Gaston Ramirez might get a chance to shine. Both teams have no newly injured players, and the one thing worth mentioning is the fact that Newcastle fans will give a one minute applause for Jonas Gutierrez, after he announced that he is being treated from testicular cancer.

Both teams will be careful not to lose too much points, but I am expecting a lot more pressure on Newcastle. They are bottom of the table now, and Pardew desperately needs points.

I am not impressed by their attacking potential because the player responsible for organization, Rémy Cabella, looks like is being overwhelmed with the new environment.

It is really reasonable to expect hard and slow game, because now mistakes are going to be tolerated by the opponent. Both teams have their strengths but weaknesses as well.

I will be optimistic about this game, and I will suggest a bit risky tip.

NostradamusTip: Away win (3.7)
